The IHN of Ocean County

In today's unstable global economy, many of us are living paycheck to paycheck. Imagine if you can, suddenly having a catastrophic illness with little or no health insurance, or, losing your home to a fire and having nowhere to go with your family. Both parents are working, but it's not enough to afford a place to live in our area.

Working families in these situations have a safety net. The Interfaith Hospitality Network Of Ocean County. Churches and Synagogues all over Ocean County are joining the fight against homelessness, allowing families to remain together while seeking new places to live and retaining their dignity. The IHNOC volunteers provide temporary shelter, meals, and the spirit of warmth and hospitality, with little government assistance.

As our efforts continue, the IHNOC wants you to have the opportunity to support our mission by sponsoring an ad in the event journal. Please print the form below or send us an email to request that a form be sent to you.

What can you do?

Your Time

Become a volunteer in our network to assist homeless families by preparing food, hosting guest at host sites in evenings or overnight, playing with children and helping them with homework, or teaching living skills parenting, home management, budgeting, nutrition and other needed skills.

Your Money

Contribute to IHNOC to help fund our programs.
